Dr. Andrea (Andi) Anderson has a long history of evaluation and research work in the fields
of science education, informal learning and K-12 education. Her work as an evaluation
consultant grows out of long-time service in the formal and informal science-learning world.

Dr. Anderson taught in Lake Washington School District and worked at Pacific Science Center
developing curriculum for the Sea Grant-funded ORCA project, and as the manager for
Teacher Education. She also spent five years in Washington, D.C. as the director of the
Teacher Educators Network for the Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC.)  
From 1997 to 2004 she was a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Washington,
where she directed the Educational Leadership in Math and Science (ELMS) Program.  Her

David Plude, M.Ed., Andi’s husband and business partner, joined SoundView 7 years ago.
He brings 10 years experience as a classroom teacher to the clients’ work, informing their
programs with the latest in learning theory.  Providing technical and IT support, Dave helps
with data acquisition, analysis, and presentation plus online survey development.

In 2009, he conducted an audience survey of 400+ visitors to the Seattle Aquarium on the
topic of sustainable seafood and Seafood Watch program from Monterey Bay Aquarium.
